The third quarter of 2021 saw notable trends in the performance of the top 5 space games on the Android platform in the United States. Here’s a closer look at the weekly downloads, revenue, and active users for these games, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Star Trek™ Fleet Command from Scopely experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $2.4M in early July and seeing a low of around $1.3M at the end of August. Weekly downloads ranged from about 5.9K to 10.6K, with a noticeable increase towards the end of the quarter. Active users showed a slight decline from 65.7K at the end of June to 59K by the end of September.

Star Wars™: Galaxy of Heroes by ELECTRONIC ARTS maintained a strong weekly revenue, averaging close to $900K, with peaks reaching over $1M at the end of June. Downloads fluctuated between 5.6K and 8.5K, while active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 530K to 550K throughout the quarter.

Warhammer 40,000: Lost Crusade from Nuverse saw its revenue peak at around $194K in late July, with a gradual decline to approximately $123K by the end of September. The game’s weekly downloads showed a downward trend from 24.1K in late June to around 15.8K by the end of September. Active users ranged from 29K to 33K, with a peak in the third week of September.

Ark of War: Aim for the cosmos by SevenPirates had weekly revenue peaks of about $118K at the end of June, with a low of roughly $66K in mid-July. Downloads remained relatively low, ranging from 338 to 744. Active users saw a decline from 1.4K at the end of June to around 969 by the end of September.

Infinite Lagrange from Exptional Global showed a consistent weekly revenue around $88K to $91K in July, tapering off to approximately $70K by the end of September. Downloads saw a significant drop from 18K in early July to just over 1.4K by the end of September. Active users also decreased from 23.7K at the end of June to about 14.4K by the end of September.
